As one of the leading and most experienced PPP companies worldwide, combined with our financial strength, we are a proven and reliable partner for long running projects, which require Design, Build, Finance and Maintenance (DBFM) services.
In 2014, we established our local office in the Amsterdam area in order to be close to the clients and the market. We have local expertise with a continuously growing team. Our multi-disciplinary team is highly motivated. The “best for project” principle is a key element in our approach and good cooperation with the client and within the team is crucial for a successful project. We use our international experience, skills and know-how from more than 140 years with complex projects that HOCHTIEF has realized worldwide and translate them into effective and profitable solutions for the Dutch market. HOCHTIEF makes the projects feasible and achievable.
HOCHTIEF Nederland is currently realizing one of the biggest DBFM projects (contract volume more than EUR 1billion), SAA A1/A6 Diemen-Almere Havendreef commissioned by Rijkswaterstaat. The project encompasses the expansion of the highway between Amsterdam and Almere over a length of more than 20 kilometers, including the construction of 60 structures and Europe’s largest aqueduct, without disrupting the traffic flow. The project includes operation and maintenance until 2042.
HOCHTIEF has recently won the contract for one of the most interesting and major infrastructure projects (construction volume approximately EUR 1 billion), the Zuidasdok in Amsterdam. The team will widen and partially undertunnel the southern part of the city ring A10 motorway, and will expand and modernize the Amsterdam Zuid railway station.
As part of HOCHTIEF, each employee relies on the experience and comprehensive knowledge of one of the most global construction groups with more than 50,000 employees worldwide. We combine the expertise from the local team within our international network.
